All of our body butters have been formulated to be soft, but they are highly concentrated. If your body is in water quite a bit or if you have problems with chapped and dry skin, put the body butter on before submerging your skin in water. Water particles will bead up on the skin as the main feature of these products lie in their surface deposition of high molecular weight esters which provide softening and lubrication as well as enhanced barrier function for excellent moisture retention.
