Henna is a botanically based, natural coloring, and conditioner for the hair made with a variety of powdered herbs. Our henna is a USDA Certified Organic product. All blends emanate from the Lawsonia inermis plant, a shrub that grows in the deserts of the Middle East, West Asia, and North Africa. This plant contains hannatannic acid, and when mixed with hot water, beautifully coats the hair sealing in oils and tightening the cuticle giving the hair a rich, healthy shine. Henna blends naturally and fades gradually without noticeable regrowth. The color may last up to three months and can be applied every 4-6 weeks, if desired.
Note: Switching from chemical hair colors to organic herbal hair colors may require multiple applications to obtain the desired shade and is dependent on the condition of the hair. If chemicals have never been used in the past, henna should cover in the first application. Henna can color gray, but it may take multiple applications. Contains no synthetic additives or artificial coloring agents. Choose from Blond, Brown, Chestnut Dark Brown, or Red. Instructions are included with each order. The product comes packaged in a bag that can be resealed.

Continue applying until all hair is thickly coated with the mixture. 4. Place a cotton or tissue band around the hairline. Cover hair with a shower cap, and let sit until desired color is achieved. 5. Rinse hair thoroughly with clean plain water. Allow to air dry.

Expiration Information: Henna does not "expire" in the sense that it will be damaging to the hair. However, it does become less potent over time.
