Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid is a substance that acts as a humectant, a substance that retains moisture, and it is capable of binding over 100 times its weight in water. It is an excellent moisturizer, is well tolerated, and is safe to use during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Murray Koenigii (Curry) Leaf and Cinnamonum Zeylanicum (Cinnamon) Leaf Oils
These two oils provide a broad-spectrum, liquid preservative system. Curry leaf is said to possess antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties, while cinnamon leaf is known to strengthen the immune system against diseases caused by fungi, viruses, and bacteria. The two leaves, when used in conjunction, produce a preservative that is effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and mold.
Octyl Palmitate
Octyl Palmitate is a skin conditioning emollient produced using palmitic acid, a naturally-occurring fatty acid. It gives cosmetics a smooth, soft appearance.
Panthenol
Panthenol is derived from vitamin B5, also known as Pantothenic Acid. It enhances the appearance and feel of hair by increasing hair body, suppleness, or sheen.
Phenoxyethanol
The FDA reviewed the safety of phenoxyethanol and approved its use as an indirect food additive. It has not been correlated to hypersensitivity and has been found to be non-phototoxic.
