How do you approach ingredient selection?
Our process is rooted in a "Safety-First" protocol refined since 2001. We do not select ingredients based on industry trends; instead, we evaluate every component through three strict lenses:
Purity and Testing: We utilize high-purity mineral pigments, which are processed to be virtually free of the heavy metals often found in "natural" ground minerals. Every batch is verified to meet or exceed FDA and EU safety standards.
Biological Respect: We select botanical oils and waxes compatible with the skin's natural chemistry. Our formulations are strictly free of FD&C dyes, synthetic lakes, phthalates, parabens, and petroleum-based waxes.
Artisanal Integrity: Hand-batching in small quantities allows us total oversight of our supply chain. We prioritize sourcing from ethical partners who share our commitment to transparency and lead-free beauty.

What does non-toxic mean to Coastal Classic Creations®?
At Coastal Classic Creations®, “non-toxic” reflects our commitment to formulating products without ingredients known or commonly flagged in safety discussions as potentially harmful to human health. Each component is selected based on current safety data, regulatory standards, and long-term use considerations.
Our formulations are developed without FD&C dyes, synthetic lakes, parabens, phthalates, or unnecessary additives. We use high-purity mineral pigments tested to meet FDA and EU standards for heavy metals, alongside botanical oils and waxes chosen for performance and compatibility with the skin.
We do not rely on certifications or labels alone. These standards are applied consistently across every product we create, so each formula reflects the same approach to safety, quality, and performance.
Are your products tested on animals?
