Coastal Classic Creations, A California Corporation, (“we, us, or our”) respects your concerns about privacy and values our relationship. This Privacy Statement describes the types of personal information we collect, including our E-List Newsletter subscribers, online, how we use the information, with whom we share it, and the choices available regarding our use of the information. We also describe the measures we take to protect the security of the information and how to contact us about our privacy practices.

We may collect or may have collected personal information about you from various sources. The categories of sources from which we may collect personal information are:

  • Directly from you, such as when you make a purchase on our website, contact us with a question or complaint, create an account on our website, register for our newsletter, respond to a survey, participate in a promotion, or sign-up to receive marketing communications.

How We Use Information

We may use or may have used the information we have about you:

  • To provide products and services to you, such as fulfilling orders and processing payments, creating, servicing and/or maintaining your account, assisting you with product selection, and manage current or past purchases.
  • To communicate with you, including responding to your inquiries or complaints, and to assist you in placing an order.
  • To administer your participation in surveys, promotions, and our newsletter subscription.

To update your preferences, ask us to remove your information from our mailing lists or submit a request, please contact us in the manner specified below.

Accessing, Updating, and Modifying Personal Information

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to and receive details about the personal information we maintain about you, update and correct inaccuracies in your personal data, and have the information blocked or deleted, as appropriate. The right to access personal information may be limited in some circumstances by local law requirements. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections. Email Opt-Out

You can opt-out from receiving marketing or clienteling communications by email by following the instructions within the emails you receive from us or by contacting us at privacy@coastalclassiccreations.com. Please note that your opt-out request is specific to the particular type of email communication you receive from us, e.g. if you opt-out from a clienteling email, you will no longer receive clienteling email communications, but you may still receive email marketing communciations from us. Further, if you opt-out from both clienteling email communications and marketing email communications, we may still send you transactional or operational emails, e.g. transactional or operational emails include purchase or shipping confirmations, password resets, profiles updates, or other account related messages.

Geolocation Information Opt-Out

When you use our website on a mobile device, we may ask you to share your location. You may choose not to share your geolocation details by adjusting your mobile device's location services settings.

Cookies, Targeted Advertising and Analytics

We may use the information collected through automated means on this site for market research, data analytics and system administration purposes, such as to determine whether you have visited us before or are new to the site and for compliance with our legal obligations, policies and procedures, including compliance with relevant industry standards and the enforcement of our Terms and Conditions. We also may use the information in other ways for which specific notice is provided at the time of collection.

Do Not Track and Advertising Across Different Websites

Coastal Classic Creations does not track its customers over time and across third-party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. However, some third-party sites keep track of your browsing activities when they serve you content, which enables them to tailor what they present to you.

Third parties that have content embedded on Coastal Classic Creations’ website such as a social feature or a stock ticker may set cookies on a user’s browser and/or obtain information about the fact that a web browser visited Coastal Classic Creations’ website from a certain IP address. Third parties cannot collect any other personally identifiable information from Coastal Classic Creations’ websites unless you provide it to them directly.

Children’s Privacy

This website is not intended for or directed to children under the age of thirteen (13) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13) on the website. If we become aware that a child under the age of thirteen (13) has provided us with personal information, we will delete the information from our records.

This Privacy Statement may be updated periodically and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in our personal information practices. We will post a prominent notice on our website to notify you of any significant changes to privacy practices and indicate at the top of the Privacy Policy when it was most recently updated.

When you sign up for our newsletter, email list, or other discounts or special offers, you opt-in to a financial incentive. You may withdraw from a financial incentive at any time by opting out from our emails or unsubscribing from our newsletter or email list. Generally, we do not assign monetary or other value to personal information, however California law requires that we assign such value in the context of financial incentives. In such context, the value of the personal information is related to the estimated cost of providing the relevant financial incentive(s) for which the information was collected.

Your California Privacy Rights

You have the right to request, twice in a 12-month period, that we disclose to you the personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and sold about you during the past 12 months. In addition, you have the right to request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you (subject to certain exceptions).

You can exercise your rights by submitting a request to privacy@coastalclassiccreations.com. Before processing your request, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity, which will include verifying that the email address from which you submit the request matches the email address we maintain on file for you. In order to ensure you are the owner of the email address, you must respond to a confirmation email that we will send to such email address. In some cases, we may ask you to provide additional information in order to verify your identity.

You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The authorized agent may submit the request through email at: privacy@coastalclassiccreations.com and will be required to provide proof that they have been authorized to act on your behalf. If the authorized agent does not provide such proof, you will be required to confirm your identity and the authenticity of the request.
