HOW SHIPPING RATES ARE DETERMINED

For all orders, shipping charges are calculated and automated within our shopping cart system and all charges are clearly visible during the checkout process.

DAMAGED PACKAGES

If a package arrives damaged, we will request pictures of the damaged items, including package and packaging. Once the pictures are reviewed, based on the type of damage, our insurance carrier may request the item to be shipped to them for inspection and/or salvaged value. Depending on the type of damage, the insurance carrier may request that an affidavit be completed and signed stating that the items were damaged upon delivery.  We ask that you hold on to the damaged property until the claim is fully resolved.

LOST PACKAGES

If the tracking information from the carrier shows that the package was delivered, but there is a complaint that the package has not been received, an investigation will ensue. Our insurance company will request that an affidavit be completed and signed stating that the parcel was not delivered or not received. We can submit an insurance claim for most shipments 24 hours after an order has shipped and up to 120 days from the shipping dateOrders will not be reshipped, nor will any replacement or refund issue, until disposition of the insurance claim.

If a customer places two or more orders and the customer claims non-receipt of two or more orders despite confirmed delivery by the United States Postal Service, Coastal Classic Creations reserves the right to cancel any subsequent order from that customer. There are no exceptions, alterations, or customizations to this policy and the order will be canceled.

Note: Fraudulently reporting that an order was lost is a federal crime that will be reported to the United States Postal Inspection Service and to your nearest law enforcement agency.
